Port Perry Ontario, Canada is a small community located in Scugog Township, Durham Region of Ontario Canada. It is approximately an hour outside of Toronto. It has a 24 bed hospital, municipal offices, and retail businesses. The downtown area has a very Victorian feel to it. There are local farms, lakeside parks, ad Ice fishing in the winter time.

Port Perry is such a quaint little place to live and if you do want to live there you can always rent a property with a couple of friends if the price is to steep for one person. The local attractions, dining, shopping and entertainment in Port Perry are enough to make you want to stay in Port Perry if you ever decide to visit. It is like being in a small quaint little town in London. The people are so friendly and if you want to get away from the rat race then this is the place to be. 

 

Port Perry has a small population of about 9500 inhabitants and it is growing. There are over 15 bed and breakfasts; there is the winery, the tow hall and the great blue heron casino. You can tour around Lake Scugog ad travel to the Northwood zoo and animal sanctuary, or to the Scugog shores historical museum and archives. There are several attractions in port Perry, there is shopping at the boutiques, antique shops, country stores, and craft galleries. The dining consists of pubs, coffee houses, and grills. The entertainment is the theatre, the Scugog choral society ad the nautical shops.
